Mr Dude, his sisters and I headed to the park after attempting to make some paper aeroplanes at home. It is a bit of a fluke if I make one that actually flies or rather drifts across the space of more than a metre.
I watched my little charges from a distance holding their colourful paper planes, with their arms pulled back ready to throw them into the air with a leap of enthusiasm and a squeal of excitement. Round and round in circles they ran, over and over again we all kept throwing them into the air hoping to propel them further each time.
“Did you see mine?”
“Me flew Me flew!”
